Leading GPS navigation app vendor Sygic has announced an update to their app that offers to go beyond the turn-by-turn driving experience to answer walking, booking and traveling needs.

Among other features Sygic has integrated TripAdvisor, Yelp, Viator, and Foursquare in its app.
“We at Sygic are excited to announce our Sygic GPS Navigation overhaul, and we eagerly look forward to feedback from our customers. In transforming our leading software into a comprehensive travel application, we are proudly delivering innovative traveling solutions and advanced technology never before seen on the market,” said Sygic CEO Michal Štencl.
Sygic recently reached a record-breaking 100 million downloads (read here), his CEO now expects to surpass 150 million users by 2016.
The partnerships with companies such as TripAdvisor and Viator also offers Sygic new revenue streams with commissions on bookings.
