- WiFi Connectivity
TomTom GO devices will now be able to connect to WiFi, which will allow automatic updates to the product’s maps and traffic. With this new feature, customers will no longer have to worry about hooking it up to a computer. Updates that come included with the price of the device are lifetime TomTom Traffic, lifetime maps, and lifetime speed camera alerts.
- Hands-Free Driving
The new-and-improved TomTom navigators allow users to make calls and send messages via voice control right from their navigation device. You can also change your settings to have TomTom GO read your messages aloud as they arrive. These GO devices are actually compatible with other voice assistants, like Siri or Cortana. And, of course, they also have improved voice recognition for better functionality than previous GO devices.
- Route Prediction (υπαρχει πλεον και στα smartphone)
TomTom GO devices are much smarter and can now learn drivers habits, preferences, and usual routes for better navigational assistance once the device becomes familiar with you. Another feature of the new TomTom GO devices is that they are able to alert you to slow down when approaching a traffic jam or a speeding camera with the addition of free lifetime TomTom Traffic. The device is also able to reroute you to avoid traffic from the moment it begins.
